"My second visit I think, was there quite early when shop just open. Saw many individual diners and only found out that many ppl like to dine in alone here. Food was ok, staffs mostly is foreigners, i like the most is their black sugar glutinous rice. Price wise ok quite standard. Will come back soon!"

"We have been many times there. The hotpot is generally very good. They are generous with refilling the soup. We also tried a ribeye bibimbap with morzarella cheese with was truly good. The New Zealand ribeye teppanyaki was okish. The enoki beef rolls too but all very sweet. A bit too sweet for our taste. From our last visit Arashi also choose not to serve alcohol nor soft drinks anymore."

""After picking up our OCBC JB cycling event bibs, our group of twelve was looking for a restaurant that could handle everyone's dietary needs, including a vegetarian option. We decided on Arashi Shabu Shabu at City Square, and it turned out to be a great choice! We had to wait in line for about 25 minutes, but the staff were really attentive and made sure to seat us close together, which was nice. Donkey, I, and our four cycling friends decided to get two hot pot sets and added a bunch of à la carte items like fresh veggies, beef, lamb, and other meats. Our vegetarian friend was really happy because they had a dedicated vegetarian hot pot for her. I really loved the tomato soup base that I picked for our hot pot. To try more flavors, we ended up sharing four hot pots and sampled the mushroom soup, herbal chicken, and tom yum soup bases. My friends all thought they were super flavorful. I really like this brand, especially because I can order à la carte dishes for myself, like the meats. We've been to the KSL outlet twice before, and it's always a great experience for us. The whole experience was great because the prices were reasonable, the ingredients were obviously fresh, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Despite a 25 minute queue, the staff demonstrated exceptional attentiveness in arranging our seating, ensuring we were in close proximity to one another. Our party, comprising Kitty and four cycling companions, opted for two hot pot sets with à la carte additions such as fresh vegetables, beef, lamb, and other choice meats. Our vegetarian friend selected the dedicated vegetarian hot pot, which they found most satisfactory. I was particularly impressed by the tomato soup base, which I selected for our hot pot. "Arashi at JB City Square is a great spot for ala carte hotpot dining. As someone who enjoys vegetables, I really appreciate their generous variety of veggies included in the set meals. For meat lovers, the portions in the standard set might feel a little light (around 6–8 slices per set), but you can easily top up with additional meat or side dishes. The photos I’ve attached are from several of my visits, and the quality has always been consistent. The Arashi Milk Broth is my absolute go to. It's rich, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with their ingredients. I also highly recommend trying their premium boneless ribeye and Iberico pork collar, both of which are tender and delicious. Prices are reasonable for the quality, especially if you’re dining with friends and sharing a few add ons. Overall, a very satisfying hotpot experience!"

We dine at Arashi almost every time we pop over to JB, and what keeps us coming back is the reliability: whichever outlet we choose, from City Square to South key, the flavours and standards are the same. The bubbling hotpot with mushrooms, vegetables and noodles is always hearty without feeling too rich, and little touches like the smooth steamed egg topped with okra add variety for everyone at the table. After so many visits, we have never felt the food was “too much” or overdone – just straightforward, satisfying comfort food that suits both adults and kids. For families looking for an easy, familiar meal in the JB malls, Arashi remains a dependable choice we are happy to keep returning to.
